At Seniors Helping Seniors® Escondido & Fallbrook, we have a passion for meeting the needs of seniors in a way that provides both dignity and a sense of camaraderie. Our owners, Matt and Sancia Obermueller, firmly believe we can achieve these goals through serving seniors in our community, which includes: Escondido, Fallbrook, Ramona, and surrounding areas.
Matt and Sancia Obermueller, owners and operators of Seniors Helping Seniors in-home care services of North Inland San Diego County CA, come to the elder care business with an intimate understanding of the needs of seniors and their families. Matt is currently dealing with his father who is experiencing some health issues. This personal attachment has given Matt a strong purpose to serve our seniors. Matt is no stranger to the senior community. He has had a passion in this market 10 years prior, helping seniors with their Medicare insurance needs.
Sancia is Matt’s lovely bride. She fully understands what families are going through in the sandwich generation. She is raising their three children, yet at the same time sees the growing need for her parents needs as they age. Matt and Sancia are both active members of their community.
Matt and Sancia believe their senior care work now fills multiple needs. It provides an opportunity for our active seniors to provide noble assistance during their retirement years. At the same time, it provides services to seniors designed to help them stay in their homes longer with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Sancia and Matt are committed to providing the same kind of home care for others that they would provide to their own family members; loving, caring elder care and non-medical senior care services.
Seniors Helping Seniors in-home care services create unique relationships between seniors who want to help and seniors who need help, whether a little or a lot. "Our senior caregivers are there for whatever non-medical home care needs that receivers may have” says Matt.
Our mission at Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services is about more than just light housekeeping and providing transportation. A senior care provider’s help and companionship can often make the difference in whether someone can continue to live independently or not. Peer-to-peer elder care service relieves the stress of family members who otherwise may be overwhelmed by providing day-to-day care for their loved ones. With the help of Seniors Helping Seniors providers, family members are once again able to spend quality time with their loved ones.
Our Seniors Helping Seniors® Core Values
We match seniors who need a hand with mature, active women and men who have a passion for helping others. Seniors Helping Seniors® home care was founded in 1998 with two simple ideas:
- Seniors can help each other age more happily and gracefully.
- Seniors who give, and those who receive, benefit equally.
- An experienced, reliable resource for seniors who want to stay in their own homes.
- In-home care, companionship, and services from seniors who enjoy helping others.
- Reasonable hourly rates for seniors who want care and companionship.
- Reasonable hourly wages to seniors who want to provide these services.
About Our Founders
Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care service was co-founded by Kiran and Philip Yocom in order to realize Kiran’s personal mission of providing care for those who can’t care for themselves. Before coming to the United States from India, Kiran worked with Mother Teresa for 14 years.
How We've Grown
From our roots in Pennsylvania, and our first match in 1998, Seniors Helping Seniors® has grown to include hundreds of locations in the US and Internationally. We continue to grow and evolve, adding new services to better assist seniors and refining our caregiver training as new industry best practices come to light.
To keep pace with a rapidly growing senior population, we’re actively seeking Seniors Helping Seniors® franchise partners in open markets.
